NAMI Cumberland Harnett and Lee County presents "Inclusion Variety Show"
Community Inclusion is the opportunity to live and exist as a contributing member of the community while being valued for one’s abilities and uniqueness regardless of disability.Inclusion means that all people regardless of their disability have the right to be respected and appreciated as valuable members of their community. Community Inclusion provides a road map to recovery by creating an environment that promotes individual well-being. And it is the right of all people.During this year NAMI CHL has embarked upon an effort to promote community inclusion while building a strong coalition of stakeholders who are knowledgeable of facts and not myths about mental health and substance use disorder. This initiative began with an educational series and will climate with a celebration. This years Celebration will be held September 19, 2020 via zoom from 6 pm to 8 pm.
