Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Events
The Harnett County Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Committee holds 21st MLK Observance to honor this slain civil rights leader. This year's parade Grand Marshal is former Mayor Oscar Harris.
There will be a Breakfast at the Dunn Community Building - 205 Jackson Rd at 8:00 a.m. with Speaker NC House Representative Garland Pierce (Scotland County)
Tickets available from any NAACP Member
Parade Line up and assembly is at 10:00 a.m. in the 100 block of West Broad Street.
Parade Start Time - 11:00 a.m.
Downtown Rally at 11:30 p.m. at 401 E. Broad Street
