Judgement House at Central Baptist Church
On September 10-12 and 17-19, more than 100 Central Baptist Church volunteers will team up to present the gospel in a new way to those who venture in with a curiosity to know more at Judgement House.
This year’s story is about Michelle, a teen who feels crushed by her parents’ expectations of her. Her self-esteem is damaged by constant comparison to her older brother. Michelle is bullied at school and feels like her life is crashing down. Her friend, Emma, is a follower of Jesus and believes He is the solution to Michelle’s problems. Will Michelle realize that we are all Jesus’ treasures?
The buildings on the campus of CBC will be transformed into a walk-through theater. Within each room, the unique yet tragic story will unfold and nudge the viewer to answer one important question. “Will you accept or reject God’s offer of a personal relationship through His Son Jesus Christ?”
The idea is to show how an earthly decision impacts a person’s life forever. It is an opportunity to see and find out about Christ in a non-church-like setting. Judgement House is not meant to be a Halloween spook. It is not a scare tactic. It simply presents a truth that hits home: where you spend eternity really matters. If you are interested in knowing how to go from guilt to grace, from sin to salvation, and from death to life, Judgement House is for you!
Judgement House will take place from 7-10pm on Fridays and 5-8pm on Saturdays and Sundays. production is totally free, but reservations are advised. But even if you don’t have a reservation, come on out and take a tour of your final destination.
