Harnett Regional Theatre presents "Steel Magnolias"

Based on the Major Motion Picture - "Steel Magnolias"

Concerned with a group of gossipy southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor, the play is alternately hilarious and touching—and, in the end, deeply revealing of the strength and purposefulness which underlies the antic banter of its characters. Laced with sarcasm and verbal jousting this skillfully crafted play lovingly evokes a picture of eccentricity in the small-town South. When events turn to tragedy, the genuine friendship, compassion and love allow this group of ladies to weather the harshest storms with grace, kindness and humor.
