"Because of Christmas" at Central Baptist Church

Because Of Christmas is comprised of five short stories that remind us that even during difficult times, we can experience joy and hope because Jesus was born.  Follow Sarah, a young girl from a children’s home, as she encounters various characters at a live nativity as they discover how their lives fit into the Christmas story. 
 
Because Of Christmas features the Central Baptist Church Choir, KidCentral and the CBC Drama Team. As with most dramas at Central Baptist, these stories were written by staff pastor, James Neal. For the first time ever, most of the songs featured in the Christmas production are original songs written by Central’s very own (along with all the traditional Christmas carols). 
 
Pastor James describes this year’s drama as “a reminder of how lives are changed because of Jesus.” He says, “Christmas is not just about pretty packaged presents or Claymation TV specials. Christmas is the celebration of Jesus’ birth. Because of Christmas we have Jesus. Because of Jesus we have hope, faith, and love. Come and see how lives are changed because of Christmas!”
 
Performances are scheduled for Saturday, December 11^th at 6pm and Sunday, December 12^th at 10am. No admission fee or tickets required.
