Description
The Harnett County Arts Council hosting the second annual Chalk Fest. The 2020 Chalk Fest has gone virtual from October 2nd to October 9th.
- You have between 12:00am on Friday, Oct 2nd and 11:59pm on Friday, Oct 9th to complete your work
- All designs must be original
- Logos, forms of advertisements, or words of any kind in artwork are prohibited
- Artists are responsible for providing their own chalk
- Designs that are discriminatory, divisive, or disrespectful to any person are not allowed. This event is designed to be fun and bring the community together, not tear us apart.
- Space is not limited - go however big you want!
- Chalk paint is prohibited
- Submit 1 picture of your finished work, 1 picture of you or your team, and at least 1 picture of you/your team in progress (total of at least 3 pictures).
- We encourage artists to submit a short video (max two minutes in length) introducing yourself and showing your progress.
- Any explicit or discriminatory content in pictures or video is not allowed, and will either be edited out or excluded entirely
- Share pictures of your work on Facebook or Instagram and tag us @harnettarts, and use the #ChalkItUpQuarantine and #ChalkFest2020
- We will share entries online on Monday, October 12th and open voting
- Voting will open on Monday, October 12th and remain open until Wednesday, October 14th
- There will be a popularity vote, so make sure to share your work and vote on the other categories!
