Description
This year the Harnett County Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Committee which holds activities in honor of the slain civil rights leader, will honor those who risked life and limb to protect our country and secure our freedoms. This year’s Grand Marshal the All Veterans Group (AVG), independently owned and operated, is comprised of dedicated individuals of both active/retired military and patriotic Americans.
Since AVG’s inception in 2011, they have focused on representing companies and military veterans with the highest level of professionalism through parachute demonstrations, tandem parachute demonstrations, tandem parachute experiences, brand ambassador programs, sponsorship and special events. Group founder, Michael Elliott, a Harnett County native, has jumped with former President George H. W. Bush three times.
